Introduction
The industrial training course is a compulsory course for all the students to undergo. This course is a core course that will assign students to industries, governments, or semi-government agencies and organizations for a period of 12 weeks. The training aims to expose students to real chemical/ petroleum/ bioprocess/ gas/ nuclear engineering practices while enhancing their knowledge and working experiences as well as improving their interpersonal skills. The students also have the opportunities to apply learned theories into real chemical/ petroleum/ bioprocess/ gas/ nuclear engineering practices.
Students are supervised by the faculty and industrial supervisors. Faculty of Chemical and Energy Engineering’s students have been selected to undergo their industrial training in government and private sector, multinational companies to small and medium-sized enterprises such as Schlumberger, Exxonmobil, Petronas, Shell, Top Glove, Infineon Technologies, Lynas and many more to be stated.
