KUALA LUMPUR, November 27th, 2018; – Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) is continuing its efforts to strengthen the health and wellness industry in the international arena through its Biotechnology Research Center, Institute of Bioproduct Development (IBD) by organizing an international conference entitled “7th International Conference on Biotechnology for the Wellness Industry”.
Themed ‘Bio Resources for Human Wellness’, this international conference is held for two days starting from November 27th, at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Kuala Lumpur. It will be officiated by Dato Nurhalim Yunus, Chief Executive Officer of the Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC) involving 100 participants from both local and international. A variety of scientific papers will be presented by leading experts from Japan, South Korea, Egypt, Philippines, United Arab Emirates and Singapore, encompassing various research in science and biotechnology focused on the health and wellness industry. It is the best platform for researchers to share technology and latest research findings.
The conference this year is the seventh held since 2010 and will begin with a keynote address by Prof. Dr. Enoch Park from Shizuoka University. The seminar is expected to transfer the impact and results of research to the community as a tool to promote promotional activities in the health and wellness industry.
