IBD UTM – RIGST Shizuoka University Joint Laboratory – A Research Internship Program 2020 at Institute of Bioproduct Development (IBD).
On January 12th, the Japan delegates have joined hands with UTM to accomplish a student interchange program within 2 weeks of time. The purpose of enabling students to receive a wider exposure of knowledge regardless of their Postgrad’s research and either to develop/sharpen their skills throughout the execution of their experimental tasks. Several experimental researches were mainly done on Cordyceps and Ashbya gossypii fungus.
This program carried out in the framework of Memorandum Understanding between UTM and Shizuoka University, which part of programmed activities designed for the Joint Laboratory. The Director of RIGST, Prof. Enoch Park with two professors from Shizuoka University were presented in IBD and welcomed by IBD Director, Prof. Dr. rer. Nat. Hesham A.El Enshasy. Both institutions held a meeting with the School of Engineering (SKT) to discuss further on Double Degree Program (DDD) and other pursuing sequential milestones which are the upcoming visit of IBD students to Shizuoka University, Joint conference and the Officiating of Shizuoka RIGST – IBD UTM Joint Laboratory in Shizuoka, Japan by August 2020.
