Prof. Dr. Rahmat Mohsin CEng. had joined UTM as an Assistant Lecturer A in October, 1988.\u00a0 He graduated from UTM in 1988 with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons).\u00a0 In June, 1991 he acquired a Master\u2019s Degree in Gas Engineering and Management from University of Salford, United Kingdom.\u00a0 Dr. Rahmat is specialising in Thermofluid and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for Turbomachinery application in his tenure at The University of Birmingham while doing his postgraduate study. \u00a0He is directly attached to the Mechanical Engineering Department, the University of Birmingham and industrially attached to the ALSTHOM Energy Ltd., Rugby, England under the supervision of The Late Emeritus Professor F.
