In an effort to preserve and promote Malaysia\u2019s rich cultural heritage, staff from the Faculty of Computing and Technology (FKT) have taken the initiative to teach silat<\/em>, a traditional Malay martial art, to students and the faculty community.<\/p>\n This initiative is led by Dr. Azizul Azri bin Mustaffa<\/strong>, a qualified and certified instructor who has been officially appointed as a trainer and supervisor for silat<\/em> training. His expertise and dedication ensure that the knowledge is delivered authentically while upholding the values and traditions of this cultural art form.<\/p>\n Through structured training sessions, participants are introduced to the fundamentals of silat<\/em>, including discipline, self-defense techniques, and respect for heritage. Beyond physical training, the sessions also emphasize moral values such as respect, perseverance, and unity.<\/p>\n By offering silat<\/em> training, the faculty aims to cultivate a deeper understanding and appreciation of Malaysia\u2019s traditional arts among the younger generation.
