Visiting Professor 2010

We always ensure that we are up to date with the current trends and research globally. Every year, we will invite various Professors from all around the world to give seminars, talk and review our programme curriculum. Among the Professors that we have invited are as follows:

hidero1 Prof. Hidehiro Kamiya
Prof. Dr. Hidehiro Kamiya visited Department of Chemical Engineering on 7 to 10th February 2010. He obtained his Bachelor degree, Master degree and Ph.D from Nagoya University, Japan, in Chemical Engineering in 1981, 1983 and 1986, respectively. His experties is in the area of nanoparticles and powder technology. Currently he is a professor at the Graduate School of Bio-Applications and Systems Engineering, BASE, Tokyo University of Agriculture & Technology since 2003
luuk1 Prof Dr. Luuk Van Der Wielen
Prof Dr Luuk has visited the Department of Bioprocess Engineering within the period of 1st January 2010 – 31 st December 2010. He is a Professor at the Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Applied Science, Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. His research areas are in the field of thermodynamics for biotechnological processes and multifunctional bioreactors.

Mdm. Yvonne has visited the Department of Bioprocess Engineering form 17th July – 24th July 2010. She is the Coordinator for PDeng programme Bioprocess engineering, Department of Biotechnology, Delft University of Technology.
yoshiyuki1 Professor Yoshiyuki Yamashita
Professor Yoshiyuki Yamashita from Tokyo University of Agriculture & Technology (TUAT), Japan visited Faculty of Chemical Engineering, on 29-30th July 2010. He is a Professor and Department Chair of Laboratory for Process Systems Engineering, at Department of Chemical Engineering , TUAT.
masaki1 Professor Masaki Sagehashi
Professor Sageshashi from Tokyo University of Agriculture & Technology (TUAT), Japan visited Faculty of Chemical Engineering on 22-24 th October 2010. During the visit he has discussed on R&D development and training courses with Centre for Lipids Engineering Applied Research (CLEAR)
kokugan Professor Takao Kokugan
Professor Kokugan visited Centre for Lipids Engineering Applied Research (CLEAR) on 24-26 th May 2010. He gave a talk on Bioplastic Resaerch and discussed on Technofund proposal. He is also from Tokyo University of Agriculture & Technology (TUAT), Japan.
gedewenten1 Prof. Dr. I Gede Wenten
Professor Wenten visited FKKKSA on 23rd February 2010 – 28th February 2010. He is a Professor at Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia.
