About ICSEC2021
It is a great privilege for us to invite you to the 1st International Conference (Virtual) on Sustainable Energy and Catalysis (ICSEC 2021) to be held on 16th – 17th February 2021. This conference will be jointly organized by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) in which the Chemical Reaction Engineering Group and School of Chemical & Energy Engineering, UTM together with U.S-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Energy (USPCAS-E), NUST are proudly taking part due to an established MoU.
ICSEC 2021 is aimed to provide a platform to bring together researchers, scientists, and engineers from academia, research institutions and industry to exchange information, experiences and expertise in the field of chemical reaction engineering, catalysis and energy conversion & waste management, hence, to foster research relations between the universities and the industry. The theme of ICSEC 2021 is ‘Advancement in Sustainable Energy & Catalysis for Green Future’. The emphasis will be given on addressing the current problems of chemical engineering, catalysis role and energy & environment. The primary objective of this event is to identify the state of our current scientific knowledge in these fields and to identify further research needs and priorities in order to achieve substantial improvements in short and long span of time. The scientific program will offer plenary and keynote lectures by national and international researchers and submitted oral presentations.
All peer-reviewed accepted papers will be published in the conference proceeding while top quality papers will be selected to be published in Bulletin of Chemical Reaction Engineering & Catalysis (Scopus indexed & WOS master journal list).
Technical papers describing original, previously unpublished work in the areas of relevant interest including, but not limited to, the following thematic spectrum of the ICSEC 2021 may be submitted for possible presentation.
