March 31st, 2017 – Intervarsity Sports Carnival 2017 was held at K9/K10, Dewan KTHO, KTR and KRP. Around 150 participants took part in this event which consisted of first, second, third and fourth year chemical engineering students from FCEE as well as from other universities such as UPM, USM, UITM PP, UITM SHAH ALAM and UMP.
Among the activities held were futsal, takraw, basketball, volleyball, netball, badminton, pingpong and e-games. With a great pride and happiness, UTM JB won best university award for overall performance amidst the several local universities invited. Overall, the event was held successfully. Universities which were invited were very pleased and enjoyed our event. The objectives of the event which is to strengthen the bond between local universities was well achieved. Bond between seniors and juniors as well as the participants invited for the Intervarsity Championship were strengthened. The committee of Intervarsity Sports Championship would like to thank every person involved in making this event successful.
