Recently, FCEE received the visit of 40 form 3 students from the MRSM Pontian on Sunday, 30th October 2016. The purpose of the visit was to introduce students with the research field and the equipment that they can work with FCEE and UTM.
FCEE Deputy Dean of Academic, Assoc. Prof. Dr Aznizam Abu Bakar gave a welcome speech at the lecture Hall N11A and at the same time briefed about FCEE. The students has given some tour to FCEE’s laboratory in this visit. One of the lab they had visited was Drilling Engineering Lab which the students was exposed about the research involving the production of drilling mud.
After that, they were taken to the Separation Process Laboratory and Bioprocess Laboratory. Some input and learning exposure of the chemical separation process and microbial generation process was conducted by Dr Yanti. It is expected that this visit will open their minds and broaden their knowledge especially the fields of research that they will run next year.
