JOHOR BAHRU, 18 SEPTEMBER 2019 – New Academia Learning Innovation (NALI 2019) was created to honor and celebrate teachers, educators, researchers in the field of education at UTM, highlighting the latest ideas, innovations, products that have been used in teaching and learning at UTM. The theme “Innovation in Humanising Education” NALI 2019 is divided into 3 sections (www.ctl.utm.my/nali2019):

The team from the School of Chemical Engineering and Energy Engineering (SKT) has successfully won the NALI 2019 Award through the “Blended-Cooperative Problem Based Learning for UTM Chemical Engineering Course” carried out by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd. Kamaruddin Abd. Hamid, Prof. Dr. Khairiyah Mohd. Yusof and Ir. Dr. Zaki Yamani Zakaria.

In addition, the project “Integrated Assessment for UTM Chemical Engineering Integrated Course” has won gold award. This project combines two different courses but using the same assessment, was undertaken by Ir. Dr. Zaki Yamani Zakaria, Prof. Dr. Khairiyah Mohd. Yusof, Dr. Aziatul Niza Davis, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd. Kamaruddin Abd. Hamid, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Mimi Haryani Hassim, Dr. Azizul Azri Mustaffa, Dr. Hashim Hassan, Dr. Muhammmad Arif Ab. Aziz, Dr. Hasrinah Hasbullah and Dr. Siti Hajjar Che Man.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd. Kamaruddin Abd. Hamid also received a bronze medal for his collaboration with Dr. Noor Azlinda Ahmad from the School of Electrical Engineering (SKE).
