Programme Synopsis:
11 Chemical Engineering undergraduate students have participated in this study tour, accompanied by Dr. Noraini Jaafar. The objectives of this program are to strengthen relationship between Chemical Engineering Student Society and Chemical Engineering Department of Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia; to give opportunity to students to gain knowledge and explore the chemical engineering field in Indonesia; to cultivate global thinking and international leadership amongst students through technology transfer and work ethics; and to promote UTM as a leading entity in biotechnology and engineering in Malaysia.
Places visited were Tangkuban Parahu(berapivolcanic area), Pasar Baru Bandung, Kawah putih Ciwidey(unactive volcano in Gunung Patuha), Institut Teknologi Bandung, Biofarma Bandung.
