UTM fosters a culture of collaboration across disciplines and encourages research over a multitude of boundaries – featuring chemical, bioprocessing and polymer engineering related disciplines. We are particularly interested in producing novel research works and aimed to transfer technology developed by expertise amongst our faculty members to the industry. Furthermore, significant research efforts have also been directed to bring forth the concept of sustainability and the idea of green technology. Our research strength does not lie on a single entity but formed through a collaboration work amongst faculty members and fruitful alliance with the industry and research consortium worldwide.
