How to become excellent SHO? This symposium will gives some insight toward current status, challenges and way forward to be an OSH Champion based on OSHMP 2020. It also will includes the activities and elements needed to reduce the fatality and accident rate in a workplace. Besides, the essential elements within the Safety and Health Officer duties under Regulation 18 of the Occupational Safety and Health (Safety and Health Officer) Regulations 1997 will be discussed and elaborated as a basis and direction in creating a work environment that is safe, healthy and conducive as well as to achieve the objective of OSHMP 2020.
