Biopolymer Research Group (BRG), Department of Bioprocess and Polymer Engineering introduced new technology which enables the paddy growers in Kampung Semaloi, Endau, Johor to convert the two agro-wastes namely, rice husk and rice straw into value-added fillers for polymer composites, paper-making and handicraft industries.
