The delegation of 14 members of staff and 2 students of Universitas Muhammadiyah, Jakarta Indonesia led by its Rector Prof.Dr. Syaiful Bakhri visited Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) on January 5, 2017.
Accompanying the UMJ Rector were Dean of Fakultas Teknik UMJ, Dr. Ir. Budiyanto, Representative of Dean I Fakultas Teknik UMJ, Dr. Ir. Tri Yuni Hendrawati, Representative of Dean III Fakultas Teknik UMJ, Nurvelly Rosanti, 7 head of departments, 1 secretary of department, 2 professional staffs and 2 students.

Dr. Ir. Budiyanto said the visit was to discuss the collaboration project between the faculties in UTM and UMJ. Meanwhile, in a briefing session held at the FKT Meeting Room, Prof. Dr. Azman bin Hassan briefed on the current UTM projects and achievements as well as the discussion of the collaboration project. After that, the group were taken to the FKT Analytical Lab, Institute of Bioproducts Development (IBD), and finally University Laboratory Management Unit (UPMU).
