Application Procedures

Standard application procedures for undergraduate admission to Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) can be found here.  Candidates can apply for admission to Chemical Engineering programs in UTM through:

Online Application:

The online application is provided by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), Malaysia.  Currently, this is the most prefered method of application and therefore, applicants are strongly advised to use this.

Paper Application:

The following documents/items must be submitted together with your application.  All documents must be certified:

• A Copy of your birth certificate
• A Copy of the front page of your passport
• A Copy of your certificates/diploma/degree and transcripts
• A letter of verification from your sponsor’s bank – if applicable
• Processing Fees – A processing fee of MYR80.00/USD20.00 must be submitted with your application, made payable to Bursar’s Office, UTM

Application form should be submitted directly to Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) at least four months before the semester begins.  Please send your application form to the following address:
