Master of Science (Safety, Health and Environment)

Introduction

The Master of Science in Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) is a Taught Course programme that is suitable for graduates from science, technology and engineering disciplines. The programme provides an opportunity for practitioners from broad backgrounds to enhance their technical knowledge and skills in SHE management. The programme covers important aspects of Occupational Safety & Health (OSH), Environmental Protection, Process Safety Management (PSM) and Prevention through Design (PtD). Each module is conducted by experts from the academia and the industry. The candidates are also required to solve industrial problems through SHE Project I & II with proper supervision by experienced researchers from FCEE. The programme is currently being offered at UTM Kuala Lumpur, UTM Skudai and Kerteh, Terengganu. Two modes of study are available, i.e, full time (3 semesters) or part-time (4 semesters). The candidates must complete a total of 46 credits.
