The aim of this laboratory course is to introduce students to the fundamental concept of fluid mechanic. The course is intended for FChE second year undergraduate students and conducted in the Fluid Mechanic laboratory. In this course, student will have the opportunity to conduct experiments pertaining to head losses of flowing fluid in pipes under various pipe and flow geometry, centrifugal pump operation, Bourdon tube pressure gage, and the impact of fluid jet system on various surface designs. Additionally, students will also be (1) trained on how to produce a good lab report, (2) learned how to work in group, and (3) identify safe and good laboratory practices.
