Environmental engineering laboratory course is a compulsory laboratory course for FChE final year students. In this lab course, students will be exposed and trained to the fundamental of polution control and basic analytical work required in the field of waste water treatment. This lab course is conducted in the Environmental Engineering laboratory. Among the types of analysis and/or work performed during this lab course include determination of water acidity & alkalinity, calculation of biological oxygen demand (BOD), conductivity measurement, estimation of sludge index, learning the proper and safe procedure to sample waste water, monitoring of air quality, etc.
