Chemical reaction engineering laboratory course is a specific laboratory course for FChE final year chemical engineering programme students and it is conducted in the Chemical Reaction Engineering Laboratory. In this laboratory course, students will perform experiments related to chemical reactions, chemical reaction kinetics and basic operation of chemical reactor. The aim is to train the students on how to cobine the knowledge of reaction chemistry and chemical engineering for design or optimization purposes. In this laboratory course, students will perform experiments about saponification reaction, iodine reaction, estirification reaction, continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR), and run simulation via computer aided manufacturing software.
